About the Role
Weald School is seeking a reliable and motivated Housekeeper to join our Facilities Team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a vital support role that ensures our school remains welcoming and conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, washrooms, classrooms, and office areas.
- Empty bins and manage recycling across the school.
- Refill soap, towels, toilet paper, and other essential supplies.
- Sanitize high-touch areas such as doors and bannisters regularly.
- Clean outdoor tables, eating areas, and water fountains.
- Support school events and lunch setups when required.
- Use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations, such as flooding.
- Participate in specialized cleaning programs during school closures.
- Work positively as part of the Facilities Team, contributing to a professional and supportive environment.
