About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as an Ice Cream Van Driver. This role combines driving, customer service, and food preparation, offering a fun and dynamic working environment.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality ice cream products while creating a positive and enjoyable experience for customers at events and along designated routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a company ice cream van safely
- Prepare and serve ice cream products to customers
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Promote and upsell special flavours and offers
- Manage time efficiently to meet schedules and event timings
- Keep the vehicle and work area clean and organised
- Assist with stock management and equipment care
- Participate in training to improve food handling and service skills
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience (clean licence, no penalties)
- Good basic maths skills
- Strong customer service skills (experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Working Hours
- Flexible part-time schedule (2–4 days per week)
- Typical shifts: Thursday–Friday or Thursday–Sunday
- Expected hours: 17–40 hours per week
