About the Role
Reayrt Skyal is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Operator to support its Dementia Care and Support Services. In this role, you’ll ensure residents have clean clothing, bedding, and linen while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignified living environment.
Working as part of a dedicated care team, your contribution will directly enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ clothing, bedding, and linen.
- Ensure all laundry is handled with care and returned accurately.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Work closely with the care team to provide an efficient laundry service.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or care home experience is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and comfort.
