About the Role
The London EDITION is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join the award-winning team at Berners Tavern.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will lead your section, support the front-of-house team, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during service.
- Lead and support the Head Waiter/Waitress, Chef de Rang, and Commis Waiters.
- Welcome guests, take orders, make menu recommendations, and process payments.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of food, beverages, wine, and allergens.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve guest requests professionally.
- Communicate effectively with management and the kitchen team.
- Support team development, productivity, and service quality.
- Help create a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant supervisory experience, ideally in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to perform well in a busy, high-end restaurant environment.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
