About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Catering Staff to join our friendly team. In this role, you will help deliver exceptional food service and create a welcoming experience for guests at a variety of events and functions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and want to develop their catering and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up catering areas, including tables, linens, tableware, and event displays.
- Serve food and beverages professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including plating, garnishing, and portioning.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by clearing tables, sanitising work areas, and keeping service stations organised.
- Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide efficient service during busy periods and events.
- Respond to guest enquiries politely and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Support the team with general catering duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or event service is desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Experience in food preparation or hotel catering is an advantage but not essential.
