We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Previous experience is welcome but not required, as training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for all linen and garments.
- Organise clean laundry for distribution to different departments.
- Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report low stock levels.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues to management.
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised, and physically able to handle laundry duties.
- Previous laundry or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
