About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Amazon Delivery Driver to join our team in Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and on time while ensuring a positive experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive delivery vehicles while following traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload parcels, including handling heavier items when required.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Deliver packages professionally and obtain proof of delivery.
- Complete delivery records and vehicle safety checks.
- Communicate with the dispatch team regarding deliveries and any issues.
- Follow all health and safety procedures during daily operations.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Previous delivery or logistics experience is an advantage.
- Good organisational and route-planning skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move parcels.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
