Care By Us Limited, part of the CCH Group, is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our welcoming community care team across Hertsmere and South Hertfordshire.

Areas We Cover
This is a community-based role, supporting clients in their own homes across:
- Potters Bar & South Mimms (EN6)
- Borehamwood & Elstree (WD6)
- Radlett & Shenley (WD7)
- Bushey & Bushey Heath (WD23)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential because you will travel between clients.
Working Hours
We offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, with guaranteed hours available for suitable candidates.
Typical shifts include:
- Day shifts: 7:00am–2:00pm
- Evening shifts: 2:00pm–10:00pm
- Flexible shift patterns, including weekends
- Enhanced pay available for weekends and bank holidays
- Paid mileage at 30p per mile
- Full-shift pay opportunities may be available
Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you will help vulnerable and elderly clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and continence care
- Providing medication support and administration where trained and required
- Assisting with mobility, transfers and mobility equipment
- Preparing meals and providing mealtime support
- Helping with light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning and making beds
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with activities, outings and social connections
- Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and reporting any changes
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Working closely with families, colleagues and other professionals
- Responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies

You don’t need previous professional care experience. The skills you have developed through family life, supporting loved ones or managing a household can be valuable in this role.
