About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join our team and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils and staff at a school in Southgate, London.
This is a permanent, part-time position with regular weekday hours.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm–7:00pm
- Friday: 2:30pm–5:00pm
- Total: 16.5 hours per week
Main Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs in classrooms, hallways and offices
- Cleaning and disinfecting tables, chairs, shelves and other furniture
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Mopping hallway and other hard floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and toilet areas
- Dusting and wiping doors, windows, edges and ledges
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Suitable references
- A clear Enhanced DBS suitable for working with children
- Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and maintain high cleaning standards
