About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Hotel Housekeeper to join our friendly housekeeping team.
You’ll play an important role in creating a great first impression for our guests by ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas are consistently clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Working alongside the Housekeeping Manager and Deputy Housekeeping Manager, you’ll help maintain high standards across the hotel.
Your Responsibilities
- Clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas to the required hotel standards.
- Change bed linen and towels and make beds to a high standard.
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors and polish surfaces.
- Replenish guest amenities such as tea, coffee and toiletries.
- Report maintenance problems, damage or lost property.
- Follow all health and safety requirements, including COSHH cleaning procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of the housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining excellent cleanliness standards.
- A friendly, helpful and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to bend, lift and move linen trolleys.
- A reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is welcome but not essential.

Working Hours
Flexibility is important as the role may include evening and weekend shifts. Working patterns can vary depending on business requirements.
Typical shifts include:
- Monday–Friday: 08:00–15:00
- Saturday: 09:00–16:00
- Sunday: 10:00–17:00
- Late shift: 16:00–21:00
