About the Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate Care Assistant to support individuals in their own homes across North East London.
You will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while providing practical and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including washing and dressing.
- Prepare meals and support clients with eating and drinking.
- Provide medication reminders or assistance where appropriately trained.
- Help with light household tasks and shopping.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns to the appropriate team.
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required.
