About the Role
Bupa is looking for a dedicated and organised Laundry Assistant to join the team at Manley Court Care Home.
The role involves maintaining high standards of laundry and linen throughout the care home. You will help ensure residents have clean, comfortable clothing and bedding, contributing to a welcoming and pleasant living environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Wash, dry and iron residents’ clothing and household linen.
- Carry out basic repairs to clothing when required.
- Maintain adequate stocks of clean linen for daily use.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organised and well maintained.
- Monitor laundry requirements and report any issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
- Manage multiple laundry requests efficiently.
- Work cooperatively with other teams to support residents’ needs.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
