About the Role
Simmons Bars is looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable Barback to join its team in Shoreditch. As a Barback, you will support bartenders, maintain a clean and organised bar, and help create a fun and memorable experience for every guest.
No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided to help you develop the skills needed for the role within four weeks.

About Simmons Bars
Simmons Bars is a lively late-night cocktail bar group known for its energetic atmosphere, party music, and fun social experiences. With venues across London, Simmons Bars offers the perfect setting for after-work drinks, private parties, and nights out, featuring music from hip-hop and disco to classic hits from the 1980s and 1990s.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Help provide excellent customer service and ensure guests enjoy their time at the venue.
- Bar Support: Assist bartenders with restocking supplies, refilling ice, preparing garnishes, and making pre-mixes.
- Cleaning and Hygiene: Keep floors clean, dry, and free from debris, and ensure the bar and work areas remain tidy.
- Glassware Management: Maintain high standards of glass cleanliness and ensure clean glasses are always available.
- Glass Washing: Operate, clean, set up, and shut down glass-washing machines correctly.
- Responsible Alcohol Service: Identify guests who appear overly intoxicated and report concerns to venue management.
- Teamwork: Support the bar team during busy shifts and carry out additional duties as directed by line managers.
- Company Values: Demonstrate the company’s values and maintain professional standards throughout every shift.
About You
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and willing to learn. You should enjoy working as part of a team, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in cleanliness and customer service.
Previous hospitality experience is not essential. Simmons Bars will provide the training and support you need to succeed.
