About the Role
Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join its healthcare cleaning and facilities team in London.
In this role, you will help maintain clean, safe, and hygienic environments for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. You will play an important part in delivering high-quality cleaning services and ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone using the facilities.
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the cleaning and facilities teams to maintain safe and hygienic environments.
- Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, floors, windows, and frequently touched areas.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to spills and additional cleaning requirements.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish stock when necessary.
- Carry out other cleaning duties as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be comfortable with hands-on cleaning duties.
- Be reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Have previous cleaning experience, although this is not essential.
- Be flexible and available to work weekends.
