Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Bar Team Member to join our lively hospitality team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve drinks, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their skills in the hospitality industry. Previous bar or customer service experience is helpful but not required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks quickly and responsibly
- Take customer orders accurately and deliver them promptly
- Maintain a clean, organised bar area, including glassware and equipment
- Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age and follow licensing laws
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Replenish bar stock and supplies during shifts
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment
- Support the team with event preparation or themed nights when required
Requirements
- Previous bar or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A responsible approach to serving alcohol and following licensing regulations
