We are looking for a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods safely and on time while providing excellent customer service. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Load and unload goods, including heavy items when required
- Deliver items to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Keep accurate delivery records, including signatures and timings
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules or issues
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
- Follow all road safety and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive vans or lorries (commercial licence is a plus)
- Good navigation skills using GPS or maps
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit for lifting and handling goods
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
