About the Role:
Homely Supported Living is looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and other complex requirements in a supported living environment. Your role will focus on helping individuals live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual care plans
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meals, cleaning, and budgeting
- Encourage life skills development and independence
- Support participation in community activities, education, or employment
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records
- Promote positive behaviour support and follow safeguarding procedures
- Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in social care, supported living, or mental health desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
- Relevant qualifications (Care Certificate, NVQ/QCF Level 2/3) or willingness to work towards
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Full UK driving licence is a plus
