About the Role
Mixed Freight Services Ltd is looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Workers to join its air cargo and freight operations near Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in the aviation logistics industry. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
As a Warehouse Worker, you will help manage the safe handling, screening, and movement of cargo while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming cargo shipments.
- Load and unload freight vehicles safely.
- Carry out cargo screening using X-ray equipment and approved aviation security procedures.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift (where authorised).
- Process shipments using the warehouse management system.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure efficient cargo movement.
- Follow aviation security, health, and safety regulations.
- Complete warehouse paperwork and records.
- Perform manual handling duties as required.
Requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
