Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming commercial premises in Coventry. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have good attention to detail, and be able to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential, as training may be provided to the right candidate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean floors, windows, toilets, and communal areas.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace bin liners, and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Report any damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Carry out deep cleaning and additional tasks when required.
- Keep track of completed duties and cleaning supplies.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry out cleaning duties.
- A positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Reliability and willingness to work evening shifts.
Working Hours
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Total working hours: 9 hours per week.
