The role
Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is looking for a motivated Barista to serve great coffee and food at our healthcare site in Barnet. You’ll deliver friendly, first-class service and make every drink with care.
What you’ll do
- Prepare well-made drinks and serve high-quality food
- Keep the bar area clean and well stocked with clean mugs and plates
- Take payments by cash and card
- Check that the brewing equipment works properly and report any maintenance needs
- Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation
- Follow food handling, hygiene, and health and safety standards
- Represent the brand with a positive, professional attitude
What we’re looking for
- Previous customer service experience
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Clear, friendly communication and good team spirit
- Initiative and good judgement when making decisions for customers
- Calm under pressure
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
