The role
Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to be at the heart of our school kitchen. You’ll join a team that takes pride in its food, its brand and most of all its people.
What you’ll do
- Prepare high-quality food that our clients and customers will enjoy
- Keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean and tidy
- Use all machinery and equipment correctly
- Help load and unload deliveries and supply vehicles
- Represent Chartwells with a positive, professional attitude
- Follow food handling, hygiene, and health and safety standards

- Someone who stays calm under pressure, prioritises well and communicates clearly with everyone
- A strong team player with a committed, organised approach
- A desire to succeed in the role

- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
