About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a customer-facing position involving warehouse duties, manual handling, stock management, and assisting customers on the shop floor.
You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure daily operations run efficiently and high standards of customer service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload stock from delivery vehicles.
- Move and organise stock safely within the warehouse.
- Replenish shelves throughout the day.
- Check deliveries and report damaged or missing goods.
- Assist customers and provide excellent customer service on the shop floor.
- Support on checkouts when required.
- Use lifting equipment, including forklift trucks, to move stock safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet business and performance targets.
- Pay close attention to detail when handling stock and customer requests.
Requirements
