About the Role
Baby Ultrasound Clinic is seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is based within our beautiful, purpose-built medical centre, where we are committed to providing a welcoming, professional, and patient-focused experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting daily clinic operations, and ensuring every patient receives care with dignity, respect, and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first point of contact
- Ensure all necessary patient paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
- Manage appointments, bookings, and patient enquiries efficiently
- Communicate with patients and colleagues in a professional and compassionate manner
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Support the smooth running of the clinic and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Coordinate with team members to ensure an excellent patient experience
- Supervise clinic staff, including rota coordination, training support, and handling daily queries
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring everyone receives respectful and compassionate care
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A caring, empathetic, and professional approach
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or within a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a commitment to supporting patients.
