We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy coffee shop. This is an essential role that helps keep our kitchen running efficiently while contributing to a welcoming experience for every customer.
Whether you have previous hospitality experience or are looking to start your career, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the industrial dishwasher and ensure crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans are cleaned, dried, and restocked.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, including work surfaces, floors, food preparation areas, and equipment.
- Support chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping fruit and vegetables.
- Manage kitchen waste and recycling in line with company procedures.
- Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
- Follow all food hygiene, health, safety, and COSHH regulations.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of customer areas, staff rooms, and other facilities when required.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service whenever interacting with guests.

- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality role is beneficial but not essential.
