About the Role
Tempur Sealy is looking for an experienced Home Delivery Driver to join its UK Transport team in Hayes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing mattresses and bed bases in customers’ homes while providing a professional and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install Tempur mattresses and bed bases at customers’ homes.
- Carry out vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and other departments.
- Handle unexpected issues and adapt to changing circumstances while on the road.
- Follow company policies, procedures and administrative requirements.
- Maintain required service levels and delivery targets.
- Report any changes or issues to the line manager.
- Work effectively as part of the Transport team.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
- Have previous experience as a delivery driver.
- Be confident entering customers’ homes and delivering products professionally.
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Be reliable, flexible and adaptable.
- Be able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Be committed to meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations.
Working Hours
The role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Start times will vary and may begin from 6:00am. Finish times will depend on completing the day’s delivery route and may vary from day to day.
