About the Role
Iceland is looking for reliable and customer-focused Home Delivery Drivers to join its team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and providing excellent customer service.
As the face of Iceland, you’ll ensure customers receive their grocery deliveries safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Alongside driving duties, you’ll also support store operations when needed, helping maintain a smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload delivery vans, following manual handling procedures.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
- Deliver customer orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure groceries arrive in excellent condition.
- Follow all road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist with in-store tasks when required.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently while working independently.
- Be flexible to work shifts between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Strong awareness of road safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
