About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join the team at Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust. You will work under the direction of the Site Manager to keep the academy clean, safe and hygienic for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors and other designated areas.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, polish and clean floors and furnishings.
- Empty bins and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean toilets and other sanitary areas.
- Replenish supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
- Carry out deeper cleaning during school holidays, including carpet cleaning, floor treatment and internal window cleaning.
- Use cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and carpet extraction machines after appropriate training.
- Report damage, faults or other issues to the Site Manager.
- Use access equipment safely when cleaning areas above floor level.
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Carry out other reasonable duties related to the role.

Salary: £24,796 per annum (£10,052 pro rata), equivalent to £12.89 per hour.
