About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join a busy culinary team in Whitechapel.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food and wants to develop their kitchen and hospitality skills. Training can be provided for motivated candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise fresh ingredients for cooking.
- Cook dishes according to recipes and required standards.
- Assist with plating and presentation of meals.
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and hygienic.
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Help prepare food for catering events and busy services.
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
- Follow safe working practices when using kitchen equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
- An interest in cooking and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety is an advantage.
- Previous kitchen, catering or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibilities.
