We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our cleaning team at a primary school in Adlington, Macclesfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time work in a friendly and supportive environment.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours
- 1.5 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible start time after 3:00 PM
- Term-time working
- Optional additional cleaning work available during school holidays, including the summer break
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and high-touch surfaces
- Ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
- Must be eligible to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (provided by the employer)
