About the Role
GXO is looking for a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Operative to join the team at the Greene King site in Tilbury.
Working as part of a two-person team, you will be responsible for accurately and safely preparing customer orders and loading delivery vehicles with kegs, casks and cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Load delivery vehicles safely and accurately.
- Manually handle products weighing up to 70kg using pump trucks and shrink-wrap equipment.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Complete loading documentation and stock accuracy checks.
- Load approximately four vehicles per shift.
- Follow health, safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and productivity.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out frequent manual handling.
- Previous warehouse, logistics or drinks distribution experience.
- Experience using pump trucks and handling kegs or other heavy goods.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
